Marie Tucker Dahn

1926-2008

Marie Tucker taught at two of Goodland Township schools, the Erity School House and the Walker School House from 1946-1953. Even though she married, Howard Dahn, in the summer of 1959 and eventually moved to Utica, Goodland Township always remained in her roots. Education was extremely important to Marie and she gave back to the community that she started in when she passed away in December of 2008. She bequeathed funds to Goodland Township, specifically for the Library, so that our youth of today can continue to grow in their knowledge and education.
